Appropriateness of Education Policies in Kuwait to the Requirements of E-Learning Quality

Abstract:

The quality of online education is essential in fulfilling the aspirations of modern societies. Therefore, researching the appropriateness of its requirements to educational policies in Kuwait is necessary to ensure full development of the educational process. This serves as a topic that draws the reader to reflect on organizational and technological challenges that can significantly affect the future of education in Kuwait.The study aims to identify the extent to which education policies in the State of Kuwait are appropriate to the quality requirements of e-learning (physical - technical - human). The study population consists of all faculty members at Kuwait University, which includes (93) faculty members. The study adopts the descriptive approach as a method for the study through a questionnaire as a study tool. The study found that the appropriateness of education policies in the State of Kuwait to the (physical) requirements of the quality of e-learning came to a medium degree, and that the appropriateness of education policies in the State of Kuwait to the (technical) requirements of the quality of e-learning came to a moderate degree. The results of the study also show that the appropriateness of education policies in the State of Kuwait to the (human) requirements of the quality of e-learning came to a moderate degree.  The study recommends seeking the help of a group of specialists in the field of distant education, as well as to benefit from foreign expertise and experiences in this field to improve the educational process at Kuwait University, and to hold training programs for faculty members at Kuwait University to improve their technical skills for the educational process.
