Abstract:

The aim of this study is to identify the evaluation of teaching competenceis for the staff members at the University of Bakht Alruda from the students "point of view". The study was conducted in the second semester of the academic year (2016/2017). The sample of the study was (164) students of the Faculty of Education. Descriptive approach was used and the researcher adopted the questionnaire of Dr. Ibrahim Al - Hakami "The professional competencies required for the University professors from the point of view of his students which of the Faculty of Education and Science at the University of Umm El Gura in Taif's branch Saudi Arabia". It is divided into six main areas; personality, lecture preparation and implementation, evaluation activities , human relations, scientific and professional emprovement, promotion and conservation. Each consists of a set of sub-criteria totaling (75) criteria. The study found that the potentials of the Faculty members in the Faculty of Education at the University of Bakht Alruda from the students point of view were large. The results of the study showed that there were no statistically significant difference  in the means responses from students due to sex, and that there were statistically significant difference  in the means responses form students in this fields due to their majors.
